More than £15,000 raised for children’s hospital

Nixon works with local charity

A whopping £15, 787 was raised by NIXON for the Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity in 2019.

NIXON became a charity partner this year in a bid to raise £10,000 for the 173,000 babies, children, and young people that are treated each year at Scotland’s largest children’s hospital.

The team smashed the target by taking on individual challenges and reaching out to family, friends, clients and supporters throughout the year – and we are incredibly thankful to them for their support.

From the Kiltwalk to 10ks, discos to race nights, the whole team backed the challenge and raised a phenomenal amount for the charity which has just been handed over ahead of Christmas.

NIXON’s Managing Director Richard McFadzean said: “We started the year by committing to Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity in hope that we could support a local charity close to many of our hearts.

“The effort the team has put in and their drive to raise money created a great energy within the company and we were overwhelmed by the support we received from our clients and supporters.

“It’s a great honour to partner with the charity and we look forward to continuing and renewing our support in 2020 and setting ourselves new goals to smash in the new year.”

The final donation will go to ensure that babies, children and young people treated at Glasgow’s Royal Hospital for Children receive the best possible care.

If anyone is reading this and wishes to donate to the Charity – donations can still be made through the Virgin Money Giving Page

Merry Christmas from Team NIXON.
