NIXON adds to its QS and Project Management Team

Changing career from a Fire Engineer to a Quantity Surveyor is today’s latest recruit. We welcome Ryan Gunn to our growing team where we are delighted to open new doors for him as well as new opportunities.

Ryan plans to forge a new career in Quantity Surveying where he has our full support. Working with us throughout the week, Ryan will complete a Graduate Apprenticeship programme in Quantity Surveying at Glasgow Caledonian University (GCU).

Ryan is one of a number of recruits NIXON has guided in the past few years and, when possible, we continue to support and be an encouraging workplace that attracts apprenticeships, graduates and people throughout their career.

We know Ryan’s experience presents us with transferrable skills and we look forward to helping guide and support him through his journey at NIXON where he will have the leadership support of directors Dominic MacConnell and Tony Slevin.

Ryan said: “It is an opportunity that I didn’t want to pass on and something that I have been thinking about for a number of years. I’m looking forward to getting on site, learning from the team, and bringing elements of my previous experience to projects here. Studying and working will allow me to put the theory into practice and starting a new career is always daunting but exciting.”

Ryan joins our newly appointed James Hendrie, a Building Surveyor Graduate in our Project Management and Quantity Surveyor department.

Welcome to the Team!
