NIXON Engineers pave the way for the Garden Room

The engineering team delivered their services and expertise to hospitality group, Manorview.

The Garden Room project builds on the group’s £3.5million refurbishment of the Redhurst, completed during lockdown, where NIXON led as project managers, quantity surveyors, engineers and principal designers.

Returning to the project, the civil and structural engineering team helped to deliver the infrastructure needed on The Garden Room at the Redhurst Hotel in Giffnock. The project saw the complete refurbishment of a bungalow into a private garden house featuring a fountain, pagoda, fire pit and seating.

Led by David D’Arcy, working closely with James Hunter, our brilliant engineering team brought their expertise to deliver for the hospitality group, Manorview Group.

The new Garden House is a luxurious private suite which sleeps two and features a grand bedroom with standalone bathtub, double rainfall shower, living room with bar and rear garden, and will be the ultimate romantic experience.

We think it’s simply stunning and we’re very proud of our team of engineers for bringing their skills and expertise as part of our one-stop-shop approach at NIXON.

Wishing the The Redhurst team the very best success in their new venture.

Well done team especially our NIXON engineers!
