Employer’s agent on Scotway House

Work continues on Scotway House along the Clydeside – a new development by Structured House Group.

The flagship £40million GDV is shortlisted for Development of the Year in this year’s Herald Property Awards 2019 and will be home to more than 400 students when it opens in September.

NIXON is leading as employer’s agent on the £23million build which began in January 2018.

The 14-storey tower and an additional 6-storey student accommodation has a separate 3-storey building dedicated to studying and socialising with 24/7 staff, complete with a library, cinema room, gym, social areas, study pods and outdoor terrace. Already the building has been named one of the most instagrammable student residences in the UK and will be operated by property-management brand BOHO.

GRAHAM is the principal contractor to deliver the £23million build. The external façade is an exterior is a mixture of brick, curtain-walling, zinc cladding and dryvit. The dryvit is an exterior outsulation system chosen due to its environmental qualities as well as the non-combustible, energy efficient and its longevity and with self-cleaning features.

Scotway House is an ultra-modern, tech-savvy and characterful accommodation which is creating a new skyline and part of the regeneration of Glasgow’s river.
