Working within such a wide-reaching industry, construction companies have a responsibility to consider all aspects of our work and, with this in mind, we approached the Scheme to become a considerate contractor. The Scheme is a voluntary organisation which companies can choose to join and one which fits with our mission and vision as a forward-thinking construction company.
The Considerate Construction Scheme was Founded in 1997 to improve the image of the sector and to implement best practice beyond simply what is required. Since then, the scheme has grown substantially and now sets the benchmark for constructors to attain.
Appearance, Safety, Community, Workforce and Environment are the pillars that the considerate practice is built on. From making our sites as environmentally conscious, safe, and friendly on the eye as possible, to engaging with local communities on projects, NIXON is committed to raising and maintaining the standards of construction.
