Congratulations to our very own Quantity Surveyor Olivia Bibb
Olivia was supported and employed by NIXON as a trainee Quantity Surveyor to gain her degree at Heriot-Watt University. Mentored through her day-today activities by the whole of the NIXON team, we’re delighted that after five years of hard work, raising a family, late night essays and dissertations as well as her client work, Olivia has completed her studies and is graduating this summer.
Speaking about her journey, she said:
“When I was eighteen, I enrolled in West College Scotland. I completed a year doing an NC in Built Environment and I loved it. I loved construction and I wanted it as my career. From there, I moved on to complete an HND in Quantity Surveying for the next two years at the City of College Glasgow before finishing my last two years at Heriot-Watt University. It’s great to get to this stage as all the hard work has paid off.”
Olivia has worked on multiple projects including The Redhurst Hotel, Giffnock, and its recent transformation, The Picture House in Dennistoun and the launch of a new residential build in Paisley, The Millhouse.
